Applications provides a exhaustive list of all applications or executables in your system with in depth details about each one. It will show the architectures (ppc/i386/x86_64), the localizations, wether the app is signed, has a mac app store receipt, is sandboxed, uses a garbage collector or automatic reference counting*, the number of private frameworks**, the number of uses, the modification and last used time, the version, owner and wether the application is a background agent, requires carbon or is setuid. *the ARC detection routine is not definitive yet **requires Xcode or the Xcode Command Line Tools package to be installed
